Paths clear except sections 3 and 4. Some steep and rough sections
NY 307009 Tilberthwaite Car Park. Take path up through the quarry at the southeast end of the car park. After about 300m take right fork down to Tilberthwaite Gill, past the tempting seat on left to the footbridge. 
NY 304006 Tilberthwaite Gill  Cross the bridge and climb the very steep footpath up the side. Cross a stile by a fir tree and turn left at the track from Low Tilberthwaite. Follow the path to Dry Cove Bottom.

NY 298011 Dry Cove Bottom Pass large bog on left (west) to copper workings area. Turn right at cairn on spoil heap to a pass with Low Fell ahead (northeast). Keep the fence on your left then cross stile on the left. Head for Low Fell (NNE) aiming for nearby crag. Cross the stile behind it.
NY 301019 Great Intake Except in very dry weather turn right over the stile along the stone wall to avoid bog. At the end of the field turn left uphill and follow the track (variable) to Low Fell summit. There is a fantastic view of the Langdale Pikes! Return by the same route to the stile and turn left (southeast). Cross the next fence by a stile and follow the stone wall on the left.
NY 304015 Descent to Tilberthwaite With the stone wall on your left go down a steep and rough footpath to Tilberthwaite. The track winds under fir trees past a short terrace of miners cottages and then a fine old house with a spinning gallery before joining the road. Turn right along the road for the short walk back to the car park.
