The graveyard of the Church of St. Leonard, Chapel-le-Dale, contains the
graves of some of the many navvies killed during the construction of the
Settle to Carlisle line which passes over the nearby Ribblehead viaduct.
Chapel-le-Dale church is one of the smallest and prettiest in the area,
and is a starting point for one of the ascents of Ingleborough on the Ingleborough
Triangle CD-ROM. |
