A brilliantly clear and stupendously cold day in early 1999. The Howgill
Fells form the centre skyline with Whernside on the right. If you, as some
do, doubt whether Ingleborough is really a mountain, a day like this settles
the question for ever. The views were awe-inspiring and we felt like we
were indeed on the top of the world.
