August 2002 - Brotherswater is one of the smallest of the Lake District
lakes, but has one of the finest backdropsof Kirkstone Pass, Red Screes,
and the surrounding fells. An easy path runs alon its northern shore, which
can be a simple stroll or lead into much more serious ascents of Fairfield
etc..
