June 2000 Lowfell is a fine little peak in the Coniston Fells which
is little visited but has excellent views. From many angles it looks like
a small aberration on the flank of the much more massive Wetherlam. However
from some points in Little Langdale it looks like a mountain in its own
right. Here you can see it as a backdrop to the famous Slater Bridge.
