May 2000 Up VERY early in the morning to catch the sunrise. But there
wasn't one. However it did gradually clear up into a beautiful day, with
fine if hazy views of the distant Lake District fells. Also - for one of
the busiest places in the Lake District, there wasn't a single other person
there.
