2001. Walking along the Langdale Valley from the Old Dungeon Ghyll hotel
towards Stake pass on the right (which leads to the Langstrath Valley and
thence to Borrowdale). Rosset Pike looks unusually like a fine and exciting
peak. Normally it is just a flag post for one of the most tiring and tedious
ascents in the area - Rosset Ghyll.
