is a small village to the east of the Lune close to Hornby, upstream from
Lancaster on downstream from Kirkby Lonsdale. A particularly attractive
village, it has become quite famous in recent years because of its annual
Scarecrows display. These are all made by the villagers - and are often
so creative that you imagine that they can have little time for anything
else before next year's show!
