May 2002 One of the most popular walks in the Sierra de Grazalema is from
Benaocaz in the south to the Salto del Cabrero. The walk is popular because
it is not very long, is clearly visible almost everywhere (a rarity!),
and ends up at this spectacular point. There is some climbing involved
though! "Salto del Cabrero" means "The Goatherd's Leap". As those little
green bushes in the picture are actually full size trees this may be an
explanation of the rarity of goatherds in the area.
