April 2001 - Simancon, at about 1570 m, is the second highest peak in the
Grazalema area. The highest peak (Pinaspar) is in the protected "Biosphere@
zone, and only a small number of visitors, with written permission in advance,
are allowed to visit this area. But Simancon is more than high enough -
thankyou! This is the view roughly northwest, with Grazalema itself largely
hidden at the centre of the picture, looking down the limestone ridge we
climbed to the summit.
