July 1999 Ascending Snowdon from Y Lliwedd the clouds began to come
in after a fine sunny morning. But they were magnificent as they raced
up from the Llyn Llydaw below. No still photo can begin to capture the
swirling power of these clouds. They are also the reason why there are
no pictures of the large number of Japanese tourists I met on Snowdon summit.
