Grading
is no easy matter! What can be an easy walk in fair weather can be an endless
misery in driving rain. What is easy for one walker is difficult for another.
To try to give some guidelines on the physical effort involved we have
provided little markers for distance and terrain at the start of each walk,
and quote the approximate distance walked and height climbed.
