Paths are good and clear throughout.

SD 326995 Tarn Hows to Arnside Intake Leave the car park and walk north directly to the tarn. Follow the track right (passing excellent viewpoint on little path uphill on your left) to join very well made track from disabled access car park. Follow track around tarn to a right turn marked "Arnside and Langdale". Follow rougher track to junction with bridleway at Arnside Intake and turn left.

NY 331008 Arnside Intake Follow the bridleway down to Oxen Fell on the A593 road. Cross the road and take the path north along the left hand side of the A593. Return to the road over a ladder stile and cross the road to a wooded track leading NE up from the road.

NY 330023 Hollin Bank Follow track through woods into open country and start to climb with excellent Langdale & Wetherlam views. Go through gate on left and follow waymarks across field on improving track to Iron Keld Plantation. Take lower track through gate into woodland of tall trees to meet the bridleway by Torver Intake, where you turn right (signposted to Tarn Hows).

NY 336006 Torver Intake Follow bridleway and turn left along the track we arrived on from Tarn Hows. Turn right at the junction with the Tarns circular track and follow round the tarn to the car park.
