THE WHINASH WINDFARM - A FAREWELL TO BRETHERDALE

Red rocks are a conspicuous feature along the Breasthigh road leading to to Borrowdale from Bretherdale. Stretching my limited Geology to its limit these appear to be a more crumbly version of the famous Shap Granite - quarried about 7 km north of Bretherdale.
