Herb Robert (Geranium robertianum)

Herb Robert is a familiar sight growing in shady hedgerows, woodlands, and creeping on walls. The plant has a strong and fairly unpleasant smell, and is often largely red. The fern-like leaves are green in shady places, but can be tinged red where it grows in the sun.

Flower: Little, pink with 5 petals. Can also be white.
Leaves: Opposite, lobed and pinnate
Habitat: Rocks, walls, dry grassland, hedgerows
Height to about 60cm
Typically flowering: May - October
