BUTTERCUP FAMILY A welcome sign of spring,
the bright yellow flowers open in the sun from February to May. The
Lesser Celandine is often found as a carpet of yellow stars in damp woodlands,
along streambanks or on wet grassland.
Flower: Little, 20 -30 mm
across with 7 to 12 petals
