The view with no turbines
Upper Borrowdale from Winterscleugh with turbines
I've tried to size the fake turbines correctly. They are so big that, if stood on the valley floor at the far end (by the A6), they would nearly reach the top of the rise on the far right (Greenside Crag) where I've positioned the first turbine. The only one which is too small is the nearest! I must admit that I don't know exactly where each individual turbine would be sited, but I've placed all of them in the designated area for the farm.

Pretty - isn't it? Of course you're always welcome to look at the view with no turbines

A special collection of photos of the area threatened by the proposed Whinash wind farm.
